The CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate I under the project titled “Capacity building for commercial-scale seedling generation and strains improvement of commercially cultivated seaweed through biotechnological interventions.”
This position offers a temporary engagement until March 31, 2025, with a focus on executing experiments aligned with the project’s objectives. The selected candidate will receive Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA.
Project Associate Job Opportunity at CSIR-CSMCRI for MSc Biotechnology/Botany
This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Laboratories/Institutes of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.

Duration: This position is purely temporary, lasting until 31/03/2025. It does not confer any right or claim for absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.
Interview Details: Interested candidates should appear before the Selection Committee for an interview/written test at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G. B. Marg, Bhavnagar-364002 (Gujarat) on 02/09/2024 at 09:15 AM in the institute.
