Essential Qualification (Non-Medical)Post-Graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bio-Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology from a recognized University, with Ph.D. in any related field.
Essential Qualification (Medical)Post-Graduate degree in Medical/Biological Science with a specialty in Microbiology or Pharmacology.
Experience15 years of experience, including 5 years at a senior level in the pharmaceutical sector. Relevant research experience with published papers.
Desirable QualificationPh.D. in any related field
Job DescriptionThe candidate will serve as the Chief Scientific and Executive Officer of the IPC, leading the preparation of drug monographs for the Indian Pharmacopoeia. They will also ensure the timely publication of the National Formulary of India and oversee the certification and distribution of quality reference substances essential for drug quality assurance.
