The ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research (IISR) in Indore has announced a walk-in interview for the temporary positions of Young Professional-I (YP-I) and Young Professional-II (YP-II). These positions are part of a project funded by the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, focused on demonstrating early and medium duration soybean cultivars under the soybean-wheat cropping system.

The positions are initially for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to two more years based on project requirements and performance. The interviews will be conducted offline on August 27, 2024, at the IISR in Indore. Candidates interested in these positions must bring self-attested documents and the prescribed application form for verification. The following are the detailed job profiles for YP-I and YP-II.

Terms & Conditions for the candidates:

1. The above posts are purely temporary, Contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the project/scheme.
   Appointment will be based on the performance and fund availability.
2. The engagement of Young Professional (YPs) in the ICAR-IISR, Indore will be regulated as per the
   ICAR OM. No.Agril. Edn.1-106/2020, A&P, Dated: 04 December, 2020.
3. Age Limit: The minimum age for Young Professional-I & II will be 2l years and maximum age 45 years.
   Age relaxation as per rules.
4. The terms, tenure and service conditions of engagement shall be governed by the directions of ICAR/
   IISR/ Funding Agency (as applicable) as circulated time to time. Emoluments will be fixed as per the
   guidelines of funding agencies from time to time. The eligibility of candidate will be determined as on
   date of advertisement.
5. Date of Interview: The interview will be held offline mode on 27 August, 2024 (Thrusday) for YP-I and
   YP-II at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Khandwa Road, Indore (M.P). Only those
   candidates will be allowed to appear for interview, who fulfill all the eligibility conditions.
6. The reporting time will be upto or before 11:30 AM on scheduled date of interview with prescribed
   application form and self-attested required documents with Aadhar, Experience certificate, Caste
   certificate (as applicable) and NOC (as applicable). The candidates reporting after the reporting time on
   the above mentioned interview dates will not be considered for interview.
7. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 60 minutes before reporting time on the date of
   interview for necessary formalities and verification of documents. No TA/ DA will be provided by the
   Institute for interview.
8. Original documents will be verified at the time of Interview/appointment. The selected candidates will
   be required to produce all the original documents and medical & character certificate at the time of
   joining.
9. The selection will be merit based on academic performance, research experience and performance during
   the interview.
10. No Objection Certificate from the present employer is must, if the candidate is already working.
11. Number of advertised posts are tentative, which may be increase or decrease on later stage as per the
    Director’s discretion. The selected candidate will be working on whole time basis and will not be allowed
    for other work without permission from the institute. The place of work will be ICAR-IISR, Indore.
    However, he/she can be engaged out of station at any time, subject to requirement of the
    project/scheme.There is no provision of re-employment after termination of project.
12. The selected candidates will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular
    post being vacant on a later date at this Institute.
13. The Director, ICAR-IISR, Indore has right to terminate of engagagement of SRFs/JRFs/ YPs etc. as
    mentioned above, even before the completion of the project/contract period for which no appeal thereof
    shall be made at any time without assigning reason therof.
14. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall led to disqualification or termination of such
    candidates. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will
    be summarily rejected.
15. The decision of the Director/ P.I. of the Project would be final and binding in all aspects. In case of any
    dispute or legal proceedings against the Institute, the territorial jurisdiction shall be restricted to
    Judicature at Indore court only.
16. Call letters to attend the interview will not be sent to the candidates. No Correspondence will be made
    with applicants who are not eligible. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check Institute’s
    website/their e-mail ID regularly.
17. Addendum/corrigendum/notices to this advertisement, if any, shall be published only on the Institute’s
    website and will not be published in the newspapers. Candidates are advised to check the Institute’s
    website regularly. No request for update of new information in the application form will be entertained.
