Essential Qualifications for ICMR Research Scientist Job
- 1st Class Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, with three years experience or Ph.D.

- Must have handled a minimum of five projects relevant to the requirement, as Principal Investigator or Co-PI.
- For Engineering / IT/CS: First Class Graduate degree of four years with five years experience.

- At least three years of post-qualification experience in managing public health programs, especially in the designated project area.
- Scientific Project Management skills and administrative experience in project monitoring and evaluation, including handling/ coordinating projects related to communicable diseases.
- Experience in preparing reports, notes, PowerPoint presentations, and programmatic data documentation.
- Proficient in computer handling, familiar with Windows (MS Office software & software packages), and knowledgeable in computer applications/Business Intelligence tools/Data Management.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with experience in programmatic reviews and coordination.

- Assist the Sr. Scientist(s) in the Division of CD.
- Monitor/review and coordinate project activities on virtual platforms, organize interim/review meetings, and prepare/write minutes of meetings.
- Write and collate project reports and frequently report project progress and milestones.
- Prepare Scientific Notings and draft writing/editing of Manuscripts for Publications.
- Ensure that project performance indicators are met.
- Support data quality control and analyze source data verification, query raising & resolution.
- Plan, initiate & implement other research project(s)/activities in the Division.
- Perform any other work related to the scientific/technical activities in the Division as assigned by the Sr. Scientist(s)/Head of the Division.
