General Instructions

- Tenure of Project Staff: The tenure of Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. The total tenure of Project Staff in CSIR should not exceed 5 years in any case. This tenure will be calculated based on the periods spent on one or multiple projects taken together in CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, and/or any other Lab./Institute of CSIR as Project Staff.
- Performance Review: The performance of the Project Staff will be reviewed after every six months. If the performance is not found satisfactory, the tenure may be terminated.
- Selection Process: The number of positions advertised may vary depending on the suitability of candidates and project requirements. Online applications should reach the prescribed email ID shown against the position on or before the specified date. All applications will be scrutinized by the Screening Committees, and recommended candidates will be interviewed over Video Conferencing/MS Teams. The date of the online interview will be informed separately.
- Result Awaited Candidates: Candidates whose results are awaited are not eligible for the interview.
- No Interim Enquiry: No interim enquiries will be entertained.
- Dispute Resolution: In case of any dispute, the English version will prevail.
