Exciting Six-Month Research Training Opportunity at RCB for Science Graduates
The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) has opened applications for its Six-Month Research Training Program, aimed at final-year postgraduate students from science, BTech, and MTech disciplines.
The session will run from January to June 2025, offering hands-on training in life sciences and biotechnology under expert supervision. Interested candidates must apply by October 15, 2024. The program, however, does not provide accommodation, and trainees are expected to commit to the entire six-month period.
Applications are invited for six-month research training from final year postgraduate science and BTech/MTech students of Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges for the session commencing from January 2025 (January-June 2025). The application must be forwarded by the Head of Department stating that dissertation is a requirement for completion of his/her ongoing MSc programme.

Please note that RCB does not provide any accommodation to the trainees. The students are expected to make their own accommodation arrangements for the entire period of the training. It is mandatory for trainees to attend the training for the entire duration of six months. Selected candidates will undergo training under the supervision of members of RCB faculty. The scientists at the centre work in multiple disciplines at the expansive interface of life sciences and biotechnology.
