★ No. of Posts: 1
★ Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA (with two years research experience)
★ Qualifications: Degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Biotechnology with a 4-year bachelor’s degree and a 2-year M.Sc. or M.Tech. Those with a 3-year bachelor’s degree must have a UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or a Ph.D.
★ Experience: Two years in research or academic institutions.
Research Fellow (SRF/JRF)★ Project: ICAR Funded – Molecular approaches for mapping of novel genes/QTLs for stress resistance in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea, and Indian mustard
★ No. of Posts: 1
★ Emoluments: As per ICAR norms
★ Qualifications: Degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Biotechnology with a 4-year bachelor’s degree and a 2-year M.Sc. or M.Tech. Those with a 3-year bachelor’s degree must have a UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or a Ph.D.
★ Experience: Two years in research or academic institutions.
SRF/JRF/Project Associate (IARI-New Delhi)★ Project: DBT Funded – Characterization of chickpea germplasm for genomics-assisted crop improvement
★ No. of Posts: 2
★ Emoluments: As per DST office memorandum No. DST/PCPM/206/2022 for SRF/JRF and DST office memorandum No. SR/SS/Z-05/2019 for Project Associate I/II
★ Qualifications: Graduate and Master’s degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Seed Science.
★ Experience: Two years in research or academic institutions. Desirable: Experience in plant breeding trials, handling field crops, and statistical analysis.
SRF/JRF/Project Associate (IARI-Dharwad)★ Project: DBT Funded – Characterization of chickpea germplasm for genomics-assisted crop improvement
★ No. of Posts: 1
★ Emoluments: As per DST office memorandum No. DST/PCPM/206/2022 for SRF/JRF and DST office memorandum No. SR/SS/Z-05/2019 for Project Associate I/II

  2. Contract Terms: The positions are purely temporary, with an initial contract until March 31, 2025, extendable based on performance or project duration.
  3. Selection Process: Online interviews for shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be provided.
  4. Required Documents: Application form, educational certificates, experience certificates, publications, and a recent photograph must be included in the application PDF.
  5. Declarations: Candidates must declare if any relatives are ICAR/IARI employees. False claims will lead to disqualification.
  6. Jurisdiction: Disputes will be resolved under New Delhi jurisdiction.
