IIT JAM 2025 Application Portal Open – Register Now, Exam Dates Released
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has officially opened the registration portal for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025. Aspiring candidates can now apply through the official portal for various postgraduate programs in science offered by IITs and other prestigious institutions across the country. The JAM 2025 examination serves as a gateway to Masters (M.Sc.), Integrated PhD, and other post-bachelor programs at IITs, NITs, IISc, and other reputed institutes.
Key Dates and Exam Details
The IIT JAM 2025 exam will be held on February 9, 2025. The registration process commenced on September 5, 2024, and the deadline for submitting the online application is October 13, 2024. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
The JAM 2025 examination will be conducted in seven test papers, covering subjects such as Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, and Geology. It is a computer-based test (CBT), and the scores from this exam are used for admission to over 3000 seats in various postgraduate programs.
Eligibility Criteria and Exam Structure
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks for General/OBC categories and 50% marks for SC/ST/PwD categories. There is no age restriction to apply for the IIT JAM exam. The exam will consist of objective-type questions including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
