The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has announced vacancies for five Project Scientist positions.
The openings are available at the IBSD headquarters in Imphal and its centers in Shillong, Gangtok, and Aizawl. Qualified candidates with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Pharmacy, and relevant experience in research and development are encouraged to apply by August 10, 2024. Terms and Conditions for the IBSD Imphal recruitment 2024
1. General Conditions:
- The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- The number of positions may increase or decrease based on the availability of suitable candidates in each category.
- The selected candidates will have to work in any center/node of IBSD, which may include Imphal, Shillong, Gangtok, or Aizawl.
2. Eligibility:
- Applicants must fulfill the essential qualifications as specified for each position.
- Age relaxation will be given as per Government of India norms.
3. Application Procedure:
- Eligible and interested candidates may send their applications with scanned copies of necessary documents to admin.ibsd@nic.in by 10th August, 2024.
- Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will be rejected.
4. Selection Process:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
- The decision of the institute will be final and binding in all respects.
5. Required Documents:
- Duly filled-in application form.
- Scanned copies of mark sheets, certificates, age proof, and category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
- Experience certificates, if any.
- List of publications/patents, if any.
- Detailed biodata.
6. Emoluments:
- Project Scientist-III: ₹78,000/- + HRA per month.
- Project Scientist-II: ₹67,000/- + HRA per month.
- Project Scientist-I: ₹56,000/- + HRA per month.
7. Other Conditions:
- The selected candidates will not have any claim for regular appointment in the institute.
- The institute reserves the right to terminate the engagement of the selected candidates with one month’s notice.
- The selected candidates are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the institute.
